Today I have two appointments booked in, both local & I'm really looking forward to getting out there & helping. I'm seeing a dog who's neighbours complain of his constant barking & a lady who's cat sadly passed away recently. Two very different people & animals that need help in different areas. To prepare myself I'm working with James French's Trust Technique. For £12 per month I am able to access online tutorials that can help me to work with the Trust Technique on my cat & on myself! I'm also able to watch beautiful & moving videos of James working with various animals & the money goes to help James work with this life changing technique to help those animals that need it most - Rescue Animals. 1st paid International job - in my 1st week!

So before last week started I sent a little request out the the Universe for one paid job by Sunday 9th January. This morning I looked at my phone to see an email from Paypal... I've been paid for my first consultation! Not bad for my first week & my client is in Canada!

I've asked the Universe for 2 paid jobs & 3 more Mind Body & Spirit Fairs to be booked into the diary - by Sunday 16th January!! Watch this space.

A busy first week @ Pets Tails

This has been a great week for me. The World went back to work on Tuesday 4th January & it was my first 'proper' week of working for myself. I was a little anxious the first couple of days as I naturally worried about the money coming in or 'lack of'. As with any Business you seem to shell out left, right & centre doing all the Prep work. But every time I look out of my new office window at the hills, the trees, the animals & the sky or walk down to the village Post Office I say a little thank you. I haven't given my old job one thought and am loving being at home doing what I love.

I've been busy finishing the copy for my website & am finally happy with it. I've also finished the design for the website. As a Web/ Graphic Designer for an online Fashion Retailer previously I rarely got to do much design (believe it or not), now I'm doing loads & loving it! My Business Cards arrived & I love them...

I've booked into two Mind Body & Spirit Fairs thanks to my good friend Jay:

Whitchurch Saturday 5th Feb - Hill Valley Hotel, Whitchurch, SY13 4JH - 11am-5pm
Oswestry Sunday 6th March - Memorial Hall, Oswestry - 10am - 4:30pm

Come along & if you know of any other Fairs in the Country get in touch, I've given myself a goal of booking in at least 1 per month!

These will be great as I'll get to meet lots of people & start to spread the word about Pets Tails.

Well it's the weekend & I'm still working (I must love it). Ben & I will be putting the website together over the weekend so I'll let you all know when it's up & running.

Happy New Year everyone

Well it's 2011! I've just been reading my very first communication with Tessa back in May 2010, it's crazy to think 8 months on from that I'm a fully qualified animal communicator, have left my boring job, have moved house & have a weekly radio show talking about animal communications! 2011 is going to be an exciting year and I am so looking forward to getting Pets Tails up & running.

My friend Jay Atkinson who I only met this August gave me some great advice the other day. She told me to write a letter to myself from my future self. So yesterday I wrote to myself from 31st December 2011 telling myself about all that I'd accomplished in 2011. After writing it I felt so excited that I had all these things ready for me to achieve. It's something I'd recommend to anyone, rather than making Resolutions. It'll be interesting to check everything off at the end of the year but even more exciting is what's lined up for me.

To start with I have an article to write for More to Life Magazine as the Editor asked me to write something. I also have a couple of Mind Body & Spirit Fairs to attend, more info to follow on them later. So... along with distributing my new business cards out & liasing with yards, vets & kennels I've got a busy time ahead of me.
